My Story
Hello! My name is Jessica Audrey Rydin! I live in the South Elgin area with my amazing husband and my baby girl pit - Ava!!
First and foremost, I am so grateful for this opportunity because it has given me a chance to run my own business and practice overcoming challenges that come along with starting a business! Not only has this been a great experience for me, but it has allowed me to fulfill my passion for getting to know more people, recruiting, sharing products I BELIEVE IN, LOVE, & being part of other leaders toward professional and personal growth!
I have a background with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Communications and Fashion Merchandising with previous Retail Manager experience, and a Graduate certificate in HR.

Something I miss the most about retail is the endless amount of people I was able to network with and get to know! With Scentsy I’ve been able to fulfill my social butterfly void! Scentsy helps me connect with others who have the same interest as me - WONDERFUL SCENTS and HOME DECOR!
How did you know about Scentsy?
My best friend introduced me to Scentsy! My first experience when she first asked me about it, I had said, "I'm sorry, I don't like candles." I never liked walking into candle stores because I have Chronic Migraines, and strong smells almost always trigger my migraines.
She gave me a sample to try, along with a warmer and I realized WOAH, THESE ARE NOT CANDLES! THESE ARE WARMERS! The scents were not TOO strong. I stuck with warm scents, bakery scents, and fresh scents! No migraines triggered here! I don't have to worry about leaving a candle on! I also can change the scent if I want to, without having to throw away or wait for the wax to be fully used!
What made me really decide to join was my belief in this product, and a supportive Scentsy family!
